What is Off-grid?

Off-grid is also known as a stand-alone power system (SAPS) that generates electricity from solar panels and uses it to charge a battery via a charge controller.

The electricity is then converted using an inverter so that it can power the home or business appliances. The excess electricity is saved in a battery for future use when there is less sun exposure.
