What is On-grid?

The on-grid or grid-tied solar power generation system is by far the most commonly used in homes and businesses which is connected to the utility grid.

The system produces the electricity and is then routed to the grid from where it is used to run the various appliances for daily use or credited to consumers' Electric Account.

Benefits of on-grid solar

• Reduced electricity bills
• Low & easy maintenance
• Less expensive

Disadvantages

Due to safety reasons, on-grid solar systems could not generate electricity during blackouts. It is entirely grid-dependent without any storage.
